Although details about these announcements have not yet been revealed, there are leaks that point to some potential announcements, such as Sora, an AI- based video generator , and a new model of thinking
Among the expected announcements, it was reported that the company may also introduce a new voice feature for ChatGPT with a Santa-like effect, and the current voice button may be replaced with a snowflake icon
Some OpenAI employees have started posting teasers on social media, with one technical member sharing an image with the caption, “Back in time to put up the Shipmas tree.”
Earlier this year, Sora was leaked by a number of artists who had been invited to test it, who accused OpenAI of using them without compensation, temporarily halting access to the tool
However, Mira Marati, CTO at OpenAI, later confirmed that Sora would be available before the end of 2024, adding to speculation that it could launch in the coming days.
