This year's RPG Stellar Blade was a solid win as a PlayStation 5 exclusive , and developer Shift Up revealed in its latest quarterly earnings report that sales "remained steady even as the initial surge subsided" after its spring launch.
But there may be a second installment coming for the game, as the studio is planning to release a PC port of Stellar Blade within the next year.
“Given recent trends such as Steam’s growing presence in the AAA gaming market and the global success of Black Myth: Wukong, we expect the PC version to perform better than the console version in the presentation, ” the Korean company said when asked about its plans for PC during the conference.
The title in question, Black Myth: Wukong, was able to set a new single-player concurrent player record on Steam when it launched on the platform in August, which is a lofty goal for any game to reach, so we'll have to see how well Shift Up manages to reach a global audience on PC.
