Epic Games Store general manager Steve Allison announced at Unreal Fest in Seattle that he plans to expand the Epic Games Store's mobile library with between 10 and 50 new third-party games and start a free-to-play game program, according to Mobile Gamer.
Allison said the free-to-play and third-party titles program will be available in "Q4" or the latter part of the year, and Epic's Unreal Fest keynote also noted that Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition will be one of the new third-party games on the mobile store.
Epic Games also wants to make the process of submitting a game much easier, and Allison mentioned that the store will offer “self-publishing tools” for developers, which will allow them to release their games “without any interaction with us, like they do on PC today.”
The Epic Games Store is available worldwide on Android devices and for iOS users in the EU.
