YouTube has added a new AI Assistant feature that allows hacked users to recover their accounts and protect them from future attacks. An announcement about the new Assistant feature appeared earlier today on Google 's YouTube support page
The new “Hacked Channel Helper,” available on YouTube , will give “eligible creators” a way to troubleshoot their accounts if they’ve been hacked, and the feature can be accessed in the YouTube Help Center
The assistant, which was introduced by Google, will ask a series of questions to help affected users secure their Google sign-in, undo anything the hacker may have done to their channel, and secure their channel from hackers' access
So far, the feature is only available in English and to a select group of "certain creators," but Google says it's working to make the features accessible to all YouTube creators
