It is possible to modify it by resampling in Photoshop , and before we move on to changing the resolution in Photoshop, it is important to understand the term “resampling” because you will use it to determine how to adjust the image
To change the resolution by adjusting the number of pixels in your image, you can do so by resampling as follows:
Step 1: Select the image in the list and choose the image size
Step 2: In the pop-up window, check the Resample box and optionally choose the sampling method from the drop-down list
Step 3: Change the amount in the Resolution field and choose a different measurement to the right, you will see the width and height adjusted to accommodate the new resolution
Step 4: You can see a preview of the change on the left side of the pop-up window, and to apply the change select OK
