Google has added a new Chrome Actions feature to mobile devices that will let you call, read reviews, or get directions to a restaurant or other establishment, all from the address bar. The company announced the new feature in a blog post today
Android users will see this new feature immediately, but iOS users will have to wait until the fall
It's also one of the few address bar shortcuts offered by Google , like the "@" shortcut that lets you quickly find bookmarks, tabs, and links from your history
Along with the new Chrome Actions, Google has also added a few other Chrome updates, including live sports cards in Chrome's Discover feed. This feature allows iOS and Android users to receive automatic updates about their favorite sports teams and can be customized. Additionally, iOS users will now also see popular search suggestions in their Chrome address bar when they tap it from the New Tab page
